This years Torfaen Cross Country competition took place on the 3rd December at Pontypool Park. We entered 4 teams on a very challenging course and were once again very successful. Our Year 3/4 girls team came first and our 5/6 girls  came second. There were some notable performances, Grace White came third in the year 3/4 race, Erin Chantry and Eben Morgan came second in the year 5/ 6 races.

Cross Country 2018/19

This year our cross-country teams were extremely successful. We entered four teams; Lower Junior, boys and girls, Upper Junior, boys and girls in the Torfaen Competition. There were some excellent individual performances, but the highlight was Daniel Ward’s first place in the Year 5/6 boy’s race.

This was the catalyst for Year 5/6 boys winning the team event and progressing to the county finals.

County Finals
On a cold blustery morning, Henllys Year 5/6 boys represented Torfaen at the county finals. On a difficult course the boys ran exceptionally well, although there were no individual medals the boys came third in the team event.
