Welcome to Year 4
My name is Mr Yendle and I have the pleasure of teaching the Year 4 class. I believe the classroom should be an exciting, challenging and safe environment, where all children’s talents are nurtured and encouraged. I will endeavor to provide authentic learning experiences which cater for all pupils, by using a range of learning styles. Consequently, this will enable each child to flourish and reach their full potential.
‘Teaching is only demonstrating that it is possible. Learning is making it possible for yourself.’ –Paulo Coelho
Using the ‘Curriculum Information’ tab below I’d like to take the opportunity to share with you the activities that we have planned on a termly basis. The children will shape their own learning journey as we continue to develop ‘Pupil Voice’ throughout all aspects of our school. I would also like to share with you experiences that we have enjoyed throughout the year using the ‘Class Photo’ tab.

We enjoyed our visit to the Roman museum at Caerleon. We learned what it was like to to be Roman Legionnaires and how Christmas has traditions that date back to the Roman festival of Saturnalia.
