Croeso i Blwyddyn Un!
Welcome to Year 1!
My name is Miss Needle and I have the pleasure of teaching our Year 1 class here at Henllys CIW. I am excited for the year ahead and am looking forward to watching the children flourish and grow in confidence as they continue on their learning journey. My aim is to inspire all learners through engaging, authentic learning experiences, encourage independence and instil a love of learning.
“Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.” – Chinese Proverb.
Using the ‘Curriculum Information’ tab below I would like to take the opportunity to share with you the activities that we have planned on a termly basis. The children will shape their own learning journey, centred around their interests, as we continue to develop ‘Pupil Voice’ throughout all aspects of our school. I would also like to share with you the experiences we have enjoyed throughout the year using the ‘Class Photos’ and ‘Videos’ tab.
I hope you find this information useful. Thank you in anticipation of your continued co-operation and support.
Diolch yn fawr,
Miss Needle
