My name is Miss Standen, and I am the Year 1 class teacher. In our class we endeavour to provide a rich variety of learning opportunities. We want the children to learn through hands on experiences, which are engaging and relevant, so they are able to link their learning to the ‘real world’. We encourage the children to take responsibility for their own learning, reflecting carefully on what they have done. We then use their suggestions and ideas to guide us further on our learning journey.
